In an effort to streamline and enhance communication on issues related to Altamont Pass and the SRC, you are invited to join one or both listserves being set up. Please forward this information to anyone who you think might be interested to ensure that no one is missed.
The first listserve, AltamontSRC Announce, will send announcements about the SRC to those who are on the list. Communication will focus on announcing upcoming meetings, changes to the web site, etc. Members will NOT be able to “reply all” to this listserve. Anyone can join this list.

The second listserve, AltamontPass Discuss, will provide the “reply all” function. Anyone can join this list. Anyone who is a member of the list can send e-mails to the list. The purpose of this list is to discuss issues of interest to members.

For both listserves, members can view messages sent previously in the archive and receive emails individually or in a digest format (one email with multiple messages). The County and facilitator Gina Bartlett hopes that this will meet the needs of everyone: those who only want to know what’s going on (Announce) and those who want to discuss what’s going on (Discuss).
